My son’s school does not allow school bags so carrying books class to class can be cumbersome – this made life much easier for him.

I travel about 100,000 miles annually. I use luggage straps to help keep my bags closed and to aid in identification on the baggage carousel. These Samsonite straps just don’t have what it takes. The snaps are loose, and the length adjusters don’t hold.

I like this strap. I have standard black luggage so it helps make mine look different than the next guy’s. I did however see 2 other bags with the same one on my last trip. I guess green is one of the nicer colors. I bet that the uglier the color you use, the less likely someone else is to have it. Also if you have overstuffed your suitcase, I would think that this strap decreases the likelihood of the zipper bursting and all your stuff pouring out. Plus the buckle part is a flat plastic surface, so I wrote my last name in permanent marker really big of the buckle.

I am not sure how much you can say about a luggage strap but this one does a great job, I am very pleased with my purchase. I would recommend it.

I used these luggage straps for the first time and two of the three straps were lost in transit. They need some kind of positive lock to keep this from happening.
