American Airlines and American Eagle Help Customers Affected by Mexicana Airlines Service Suspension
American Airlines and its regional affiliate, American Eagle, announced today that they are assisting customers affected by oneworld® partner, Mexicana Airlines’ decision to cease operations indefinitely.  Mexicana filed for bankruptcy protection in the U.S. and Mexico on Aug. 2, and suspended ticket sales on Aug. 4.
